Should health insurance underwrite past-life regression therapy?

Absolutely not. If you’re miserable in this life, it’s not going to do you any good to know that you were miserable in a prior life, too.

Happiness is a concious decision, that you make. It can ONLY come from within – in THIS lifetime. Strive to be content – it’s pretty much the same thing.

if past lives exist than howcome i don’t remember my past lives, but i remember this life?

I HAVE THAT EXACT QUESTION!!!!!!! i think thats like sssssoooo weird, i think we don’t remember about our past lives in any of our lives and they all seem as breathtakingingly real but this one seems even more real because this life is the 1st life we have actually ever thought about past lives! confused, me too!

What do u think? i have posted this question before, but have changed a few things.?

It is a normal spring day, and I decide to have my lunch break in the local park, the weather is good, warm enough for summer clothes, yet not hot enough to complain about.
I sit on a bench under the shade of a tree, the wind blowing through the tree causing shadows to dance on the well-maintained lawn. The park is a hive of activity today, an assortment of people, professions and past times. A man walks past me in his well pressed business suit, he is not much younger than me, he is talking on his mobile phone, a little to loudly than necessary, trying to sound important to those in earshot of him, or trying to sound important to himself.
An elderly couple is sat on a picnic blanket on the lawn, there silver hair shining in the afternoon sun, homemade sandwiches and cakes in brown paper bags, their faces are content, yet their eyes tell a different story, for after a life time of love, sharing and companionship, should one of them pass, the other would be truly alone.
A young female runner runs past them, her toned body a billboard for her generation, her even strides cushioned by the latest running shoes and designer sunglasses to block out the sun. Tight fitting running clothes, to either enhance her performance, or to leave those who look at her an object of desire, sexual and envious, covers her body.
She runs past a group of teenage school kids, as she passes the boys they mimic the bounce of her breasts with their hands, much to the annoyance of the girls who roll there eyes.
A young couple walk past hand in hand, smiles on their faces as they watch their young toddler kick a bright orange ball, he squeals with delight, his rosy cheeks and innocent eyes oblivious to the hardships he will one day face, but for now he is content will sugar coated treats and colourful images on the T.V.
A small bird takes my attention, a sparrow I think, he is doing a little hop type of dance in front of a cluster of bushes, he then darts into them, coming out with a small bug in his beak, he then flies up into a tree, He returns moments later to do the same thing again.
Yet the more I watch his antics the more I wonder about him.
I wonder if he is feeding his young, is this instinct that drives him to do this, or is it a parental love? Will he get frustrated if he cannot get enough food?
Will his little heart swell with pride when his young take flight for the first time? Does he know of love? Does his heart skip a beat when he sees his mate? Or will it break when one day she does not return? Does he know of fear? Will he cower in the treetops when a storm comes crashing down upon him? Does he know of racism? Do other birds treat him unkind because he is not the same breed as they? Does he know of joy? Will he sing that little bit better when the sun is shinning on a clear day? Does he know of God and the creation? Is he aware of me as i am of him, and knows of man, war and death?
If he is aware of all of these then I feel sorry for him, for why should he suffer the folly’s of man, and yet if he is not aware I am equally sorry for him for the wonder of life is a thing to behold and the joy and sorrow it brings is a thing to be shared by all

you do have good descriptive talents, but try mixing up the sentence structure~ the structure as it is, reads like this:

A did this.
B did that
A went here
B went there
C wasn’t there

try instead:

A did this while B did that.
here was where A went, but there was where B went.
C must’ve been elsewhere.

i guess what i’m trying to say is that a mix of passive and active sentences are easier to read, and it’s also easier if the length of the sentences vary markedly.

Short sentences can be good. by contrast, and for contrast, a long sentence which winds and twists to paint a picture can become confusing if it is too long, or tedious if it is the only sentence length. a medium length sentence helps to combine the two into an easy to read, flowing thought.

and white space makes reading much easier.

minor technical details to tweak. good stuff, keep it up.

Is the programme Second Life harmful to computers?

For the past two years I have used it on my mum’s laptop, recently her laptop broke and wouldn’t turn on. After blaming me she eventually found out that the logic board was broken, nothing to do with me, and it was fixed, but she also found out that alot of uhm.. faulty mac notebooks were sold which will break easier. So long story short she cut me off and changed her password so I cant use her laptop, sucks to be me. I am trying to convince her that Second Life wont harm her laptop but I lack valid points to back up my argument. Little help?

Second Life don’t break the computer it likely just wore out or someone abused it

Total renal failure in a Cardiac transplant patient. Life expectancy? Quality of Life? Tranplant possiblities?

My Brother is at Mass General in Boston. He had a heart transplant 3 years ago. He has been doing great no rejections or anything until 4 weeks ago when he contracted a nasty little virus called Strep Type A. This one releases a toxin which attacks the pulmonary and renal system. He took a very sever hit to his kidneys. he has not produced any urine for the past weeks and is on Hemo-dialysis now 4 times a week. He was on CVVH dialysis intitially when he was in the Cardiac ICU. He is not a kidney transplant candidate till he gets much stronger. Which wont be for some time. What other options are there to possibly come to bare to help along his kidney function besides the renal diet and dialysis?

Any and all suggestions would be great the renal team in MGH is great but I was wondering just thinking outside the box.

Wow, that answer previously was absolute junk

Really all that can be done for now is hemodialysis. This will allow him to regain his renal function back to whatever his new baseline is now, and get his strength back. It may take a few months or a few years, but it’s the best thats out there other than transplantation. Maintanance of a renal diet and watching fluid intake are huge as well, as that’s going to influence how vigorous the dialysis needs to be.

HE CAN be on dialysis for years/indefinitely if need be, but it looks like he’s going to recover his renal function (since it seems to be an acute injury). Only time will tell
