Should health insurance underwrite past-life regression therapy?

By Debirose · March 11, 2010 · Filed in Regression Therapy · No Comments »

Absolutely not. If you’re miserable in this life, it’s not going to do you any good to know that you were miserable in a prior life, too.

Happiness is a concious decision, that you make. It can ONLY come from within – in THIS lifetime. Strive to be content – it’s pretty much the same thing.

PAst lives…?

By Debirose · March 11, 2010 · Filed in Past Lives · 5 Comments »

People always say they’ve lived past lives and have dreamt about it as well. MY THOUGHT HOWEVER IS….What if these past lives we dream about or experience werent really in the past, but in the future??

Past lives are the former incarnations of your Soul or Higher Self. Some therapists think hypnosis opens a window to the unconscious mind where memories of past lives are stored. If the person strongly believes they don’t exist, she might not allow it to happen, but if she goes with it past lives

Please tell me what u think?? ive posted it before but changed a few things?

It is a normal spring day, and I decide to have my lunch break in the local park, the weather is good, warm enough for summer clothes, yet not hot enough to complain about.
I sit on a bench under the shade of a tree, the wind blowing through the tree causing shadows to dance on the well-maintained lawn. The park is a hive of activity today, an assortment of people, professions and past times. A man walks past me in his well pressed business suit, he is not much younger than me, he is talking on his mobile phone, a little to loudly than necessary, trying to sound important to those in earshot of him, or trying to sound important to himself.
An elderly couple is sat on a picnic blanket on the lawn, there silver hair shining in the afternoon sun, homemade sandwiches and cakes in brown paper bags, their faces are content, yet their eyes tell a different story, for after a life time of love, sharing and companionship, should one of them pass, the other would be truly alone.
A young female runner runs past them, her toned body a billboard for her generation, her even strides cushioned by the latest running shoes and designer sunglasses to block out the sun. Tight fitting running clothes, to either enhance her performance, or to leave those who look at her an object of desire, sexual and envious, covers her body.
She runs past a group of teenage school kids, as she passes the boys they mimic the bounce of her breasts with their hands, much to the annoyance of the girls who roll there eyes.
A young couple walk past hand in hand, smiles on their faces as they watch their young toddler kick a bright orange ball, he squeals with delight, his rosy cheeks and innocent eyes oblivious to the hardships he will one day face, but for now he is content will sugar coated treats and colourful images on the T.V.
A small bird takes my attention, a sparrow I think, he is doing a little hop type of dance in front of a cluster of bushes, he then darts into them, coming out with a small bug in his beak, he then flies up into a tree, He returns moments later to do the same thing again.
Yet the more I watch his antics the more I wonder about him.
I wonder if he is feeding his young, is this instinct that drives him to do this, or is it a parental love? Will he get frustrated if he cannot get enough food?
Will his little heart swell with pride when his young take flight for the first time? Does he know of love? Does his heart skip a beat when he sees his mate? Or will it break when one day she does not return? Does he know of fear? Will he cower in the treetops when a storm comes crashing down upon him? Does he know of racism? Do other birds treat him unkind because he is not the same breed as they? Does he know of joy? Will he sing that little bit better when the sun is shinning on a clear day? Does he know of God and the creation? Is he aware of me as i am of him, and knows of man, war and death?
If he is aware of all of these then I feel sorry for him, for why should he suffer the folly’s of man, and yet if he is not aware I am equally sorry for him for the wonder of life is a thing to behold and the joy and sorrow it brings is a thing to be shared by all

I do not feel like reading a long story. It I did I would read a book.

How many overweight people in their forties and fifties feel that losing weight is unrealistic?

By Debirose · March 11, 2010 · Filed in Past Life Programs · 1 Comment »

I am currently involved in an ethical entrepreneur class and I have been considering doing my business feasibility plan on working with overweight older adults for them to obtain healthier lifestyles that are easy for them to fit into their everyday life. What I am wondering is how many older people think that it would be worthless to participate in fitness programs like this one or have been so discouraged in the past by lack of results that their not willing to try another program?

Do you have any ideas for ways around this or things that have worked for you that is not crash dieting?

Actually, there is nothing unrealistic about using exercise and nutrition to become fit at any age.

I personally know many people who have transformed their physiques in their 40’s, 50’s, and 60’s.

Here is more info about transforming a physique.

Have any of you ladies (and gentlemen) been scammed for money in the past few months? How did you resolve it?

William Roberts, so he says, contacted me through Cupid.com saying he was stuck in Nigeria without any money as he contracted to do a construction job there. He has his son Mike there with him…so he says. We were chatting on Yahoo Messenger…he uses hearts as a background saying all kinds of sweet words and that he has been looking for me all his life. Also, said he’s originally from Germany and then North Carolina…parents are dead…no family, etc., etc. You get the picture. Believe he is Nigeriana and using a fake picture. Have you been scammed? It’s not pretty!

Been there. I had at least 4 men contacting me with the exact same story and knew they were scams because my friend’s mother lost over £5000 to one of them she thought was her fiance. Her daughter kept telling her it was a scam but she refused to listen thinking this man was coming back to London to marry her once his contract in Nigeria was finished. It was only after she heard he was ambushed on his way to the airport and was in a coma in hospital and a ‘doctor’ asked for money for surgery that her daughter called the British High Commission who confirmed there was no hospital by that name, no UK citizen by that name with a Nigerian visa, no company with the name he said he worked for
to stay safe on dating sites, dont continue talking to anyone you cant meet right away. The minute they say they are working overseas move on to someone else, it will almost always be a scam. If they cant meet you after a few emails, they are either married and just flirting online for fun or a scammer.
And never use messenger, always go thru the dating site or set up a separate email address for online dating. With messenger, there is no way to track the IP address of the sender so they could be contacting you from anywhere – saying they are in the UK but are actually in Ghana. And there is no record of your conversations if you ever need to get the police involved. So anyone that suggests messenger that you have never met is normally a scam. Once you meet in person and knwo the person is legit then you could use messenger, but never before. If someone says they are overseas, tell them you are not interested in a long distance relationship and to get back in contact only when they are in your city, not before. Cut them off before they start sending you too many messages
