Angels Aliens and Archetypes
Thru The Ozone visits ancient history with the music of Mark Dwane’s Oracle from his 1991 CD, Angels, Aliens and Archetypes. Mankind has always looked for ways to explain his existence with folklore, myth and the recorded word. Angel and alien visitation is a common theme of all cultures that has been recorded in cave drawings, art and literature.
Carl Jung has discovered that humans have a “preconscious psychic disposition that enables us to react in a human manner.” These images are actualized when they enter our consciousness. The ancients called them “gods” and “goddesses. You may recognize the images here from the movies Brainstorm and Altered States.
