A poem. Your thoughts?

Painted cheeks, restored, flushed with new life,
behind a finely wrought cage,
with a beautiful gate. The lock, is broken.
Yet no foot nudges the fragile door.

Frightened shadow dances wearily in shoes
much too small, but resists the passing of the time.

This sounds like someone who has been given their freedom but too afraid to accept the chances of going out into the open spaces away from their prison. Some one who will not emerge from their comfort zone.
Very interesting.

Well if your usual work is like Versailles, this is a mechanical canary in one corner of the scene.
