Do You Believe In Reincarnation And Past Lives?
I saw a show aboot it recently, and some of the stories were pretty convincing, and a lot cultures actualy believe in it! And I’ve heard several stories of people having visions of their past lives! I believe that it might be a possibility! But if reincarnation is possible, why would we want to come back as someone else? And why did we chose that particular person? What do you guys think?
You basically have the same spirit, you just grow within a new body that you will know is yours because you are starting over. You choose to come back because you have the free will even as a spirit to make that choice. You come back to want to learn and experience something that you feel you are in need of.
When I was a young boy I remember having like memory of many people in my head, details of there facial features. I didn’t know why I was having this memory, or knew who they were. Years later my Aunt said that they are dead people from a past life. Also as a young boy I would watch love movies, because I felt within me that I was missing someone special. It’s not normal for a child to watch adult love stories.
Then years later I was watching some show on TV where they talked about Reincarnation and past lives and how many young children would have memories of their past lives, and as they grew into their new life with new memories they would let go of the old.
Then this woman spirit made herself known to me,she is my spirit guide, she gave me memories of two past lives that I have lived. The first was with her….and the feelings I had as a young boy was of her. I died first and came back as spirit in that first memory and became her spirit guide, and I gave her compassionate back rubs like she did to me when she came to me. And in the second memory she was my guide in that life too. What I ascertain is we both trust and love one an other that we take turns being each others spirit guide to help, guide, and protect. This memories make a longer story, I have shorten it.

What do you think of my story?
It is a normal spring day, and I decide to have my lunch break in the local park, the weather is good, warm enough for summer clothes, yet not hot enough to complain about.
I sit on a bench under the shade of a tree, the wind blowing through the tree causing shadows to dance on the well-maintained lawn. The park is a hive of activity today, an assortment of people, professions and past times. A man walks past me in his well pressed business suit, he is not much younger than me, he is talking on his mobile phone, a little to loudly than necessary, trying to sound important to those in earshot of him, or trying to sound important to himself.
An elderly couple is sat on a picnic blanket on the lawn, there silver hair shinning in the afternoon sun, homemade sandwiches and cakes in brown paper bags, their faces are content, yet their eyes tell a different story, for after a life time of love, sharing and companionship, should one of them pass, the other would be truly alone.
A young female runner runs past them, her toned body a billboard for her generation, her even strides cushioned by the latest running shoes and designer sunglasses to block out the sun. Tight fitting running clothes, to either enhance her performance, or to leave those who look at her an object of desire, sexual and envious, covers her body.
She runs past a group of teenage school kids, as she passes the boys they mimic the bounce of her breasts with their hands, much to the annoyance of the girls who roll there eyes.
A young couple walk past hand in hand, smiles on their faces as they watch their young toddler kick a bright orange ball, he squeals with delight, his rosy cheeks and innocent eyes oblivious to the hardships he will one day face, but for now he is content will sugar coated treats and colourful images on the T.V.
A small bird takes my attention, a sparrow I think, he is doing a little hop type of dance in front of a cluster of bushes, he then darts into them, coming out with a small bug in his beak, he then flies up into a tree, He returns moments later to do the same thing again.
Yet the more I watch his antics the more I wonder about him.
I wonder if he is feeding his young, is this instinct that drives him to do this, or is it a parental love? Will he get frustrated if he cannot get enough food?
Will his little heart swell with pride when his young take flight for the first time? Does he know of love? Does his heart skip a beat when he sees his mate? Or will it break when one day she does not return? Does he know of fear? Will he cower in the treetops when a storm comes crashing down upon him? Does he know of racism? Do other birds treat him unkind because he is not the same breed as they? Does he know of joy? Will he sing that little bit better when the sun is shinning on a clear day? Does he know of God and the creation? Is he aware of me as i am of him, and knows of man, war and death?
If he is aware of all of these then I feel sorry for him, for why should he suffer the follies of man, and yet if he is not aware I am equally sorry for him for the wonder of life is a thing to behold and the joy and sorrow it brings is a thing to be shared by all.
To long…

Virginia Programs for those with criminal pasts?
My friend and I both screwed up pretty bad growing up, I got lucky and got a job that didn’t do background checks but about 8 months they laid me off. Now we are both unemployed and doing odd jobs to scrap by.
She has a prostitution charge from 2007, assault charge from 2006 and DUI the same year.
I have 2 trepassing charges in 2006, DUI in 2007 and prostution charge in 2007. We were dumb and desperate to explain the prostitution charge.
For the past 2 years we haven’t gotten into any trouble, we sold our car for money and we do not have the funds for a lawyer.
I know there are programs, but we will search the internet and find NOTHING except how much money was used to develop these so called programs.
Is it just for felons, rapists and murderers who need new lives?
I dont think job hunting would be as bad, if we weren’t in our mid to late 20s, been jobless for a year and at the same time when everyone is out looking for anything to scrap by.
Please help us!!
This is not intended to be legal advice.
I’m going to assume you’ve not got much in the way of academic credentials either(?) Well, in your "mid to late 20s" is YOUNG, so get over that one. Teenagers are in even worse binds, as most employers figure they’ve got mothers and fathers looking out for them.
You need to call your state’s employment services department, explain your problems, and get some counseling, if funding for that hasn’t already been eliminated. IF my assumption (above) is good, this might be time to consider going back to school. There might be programs to help you with tuition, room and board, etc. while you study. Job Corps comes to mind.
Having past trouble limiting your possibilities is one thing; having BOTH past trouble and lack of education/experience limiting you is worse. I wish you luck; it’s a hard world out there right now, and it’s probably going to get worse before it gets better — HURRY.
Mba’s in the Internet Industry – are There Any Reasons for an MBA Graduate to Choose This Industry?
IMPORTANT: Through the whole article and part 2 of this article when I use the acronym “MBA” I’m referring to “Full time MBA” programs from a Top Tier Business School in Europe and the US (see updated rankings here: BusinessWeek or Finantial Times). When I mention and MBA here I’m not referring to any of the following: online MBA’s, Part Time MBA’s, Executive MBA’s, Masters of other kind nor MBA’s from schools that are not consistently listed within the top ten mentioned rankings.
Career choice after MBA Graduation: one of the most important decisions in your professional life
Doing an MBA is a dream come true for lots of professionals. The reasons for doing it are as diverse as the backgrounds of the people who are finally accepted: industry change, higher salaries, get access to top multinational companies, increase opportunities of future promotion, work in a different country, exponential increase of your professional network, etc and… of course … to learn about Business Administration in the process. Nevertheless, one thing is true for everybody: it’s probably the only time in your professional life where, if you really want it, you could work pretty much in any company in the world. In most cases, you don’t even have to actively apply because most companies go to recruit YOU on campus. Depending on the economic cycle and your background, is not rare to see yourself in a position where you have more than one offer and you have to choose the one you like the most. Can you think of any other point of your professional life (in the past or yet to come) where you actually have two or three amazing job offers at the same time? If you can, you’re a really lucky person. For the rest, this is a once in a life time opportunity and you have to choose wisely.
There are lots of things to consider when making your career choice after the MBA, but I won’t get into detail here; this would be material for another article. The only thing I think It’s worth mentioning here is that for me the most important factor is that you really like what you’ll be doing. It’s my personal view that if you get into an industry or a job that you really like, you’ll end up being very good at it, and probably making more money in the long run than your peers that chose with a different criteria (high starting salary for example) as their most important factor.
Having said that, if what you like to do or what you’re passionate about is the Internet/Technology/Media industry, the rest of this article might give you some tips to decide and help you evaluate some pros and cons of getting into this particular sector where MBA’s are not so common. The goal here is to give you reasons in favor and against taking a job in this industry (by someone who made this choice a couple of years ago) so you can take a better informed decision.
The internet Industry for an MBA
At a first glance, it might seem that there are not too many reasons for an MBA graduate to get into the Internet/Media Industry. The opportunity cost is just too high: You know you will earn less money (than your consulting/Banking peers), your title has much less value (in an “engeneering/technology” driven industry) and it will be much more difficult to find a Job. So… why would an MBA from a top tier school should consider the Internet Industry?
First let’s take a look at some of the drawbacks…
“MBA Culture”??… Non existent
It’s no secret that this industry is ruled by technicians, engineers and programmers. This is reasonable given that most of the early innovations in the industry have been driven people in the “technical” side more than the “business” side of the industry. Just look at some of biggest names in the industry of the last 20 years: Sergey Brin and Larry Page (Google creators), Bill Gates (Microsoft), Pierre Omidyar (eBay), etc, all of them where programmers or mathematicians (maybe the only exception here could be Jeff Bezos, Amazon). These companies, with Microsoft and Google at the top of the list have created corporate cultures where the programmer is the king, having all other functions as regarded as secondary. Many smaller start-ups have followed the market leaders developing similar corporate cultures of their own creating an entire industry where Business People (meaning Marketing, Finance, Sales and other functions) are secondary. In this setting MBA’s are no exception. There is no tradition for hiring MBA’s (the industry is still too young), there are no resources specially dedicated for these kind of professionals, there are very few MBA’s working already in the industry and in general I could sum it up saying that that there is not an “MBA Culture” in the Internet Industry.
MBA Hiring Expertise … Not there yet
The Internet industry is new compared with other MBA demanding industries like banking or consulting. These industries have worked with MBA’s in the past and know the value they can obtain from them so they have specific hiring programs for MBA’s, HR staff specially trained to hire MBA’s, internship programs, rotational programs for MBA’s, etc. This means that they have a lot of experience hiring MBA’s over the years and also that there are lots of MBA’s already working in these companies. Usually big consulting firms (Bain, McKinsey, BCG, Booz Allen, AT Kerney, etc) and investment banks (or what’s left of them) are the first to come to campus to recruit, even 2-3 months before any other company. Big salaries and the opportunity to eliminate the uncertainty of getting a job early on drive many people, usually many bright people, to these industries. But this is how it works for the Consulting/Banking industry … on the other side the spectrum there is the Internet Industry…
As mentioned before, this is an industry clearly led by engineers/programmers, in which Business People tend to be a necessary, but not vital part of the company. Starting from here, is natural that most of the recruiting resources and efforts are directed to hire the best programmers and the brightest engineers right out of college. As a former MBA student, this is something you could clearly see while still looking for a job during the second year. Just to put an example on the “big three” names on Internet and their hiring processes while I was still on campus 2005-2006.
- Yahoo: Didn’t come to any Career Recruitment events, didn’t post any Internship or jobs but at the end hired one person for an Internship. This is one of the different types of mistakes when recruiting on campus: Not posting publicly available jobs/internships. If you want to get the best candidate, the usual path is to post it through the Career Services Department so the position is available to all the students. This creates more applications, more competition and the possibility for the company to choose the best candidate from several different applicants.
- eBay: This company did have some former MBA students in their staff but during the two years of my MBA they didn’t post any job or internship so there’s not much I can say about their recruitment process. Maybe in their case it was just a matter of demand and supply: They already had the necessary share of MBA’s they needed for their current structure.
- Google: Google was the funniest case of the three. They just didn’t want to show up at our career fairs or company presentations but somehow, our Career Services Staff managed to convince them. They came, made a company presentation and brought nine people in, the most of any company that year (usually companies bring the head recruiter and one or two alumni). At the end they didn’t have any internship programs to offer, there were not MBA type of positions and nothing was really clear. They ended up hiring nobody from our school that year… which judging by the resources invested, was not a good strategy.
As you can see, In general these companies don’t have well organized process for hiring MBA’s. Up to a certain point this is understandable because the industry is still very young (more or less 15 years old). My hope is that this will change in the near future. As new blood comes to the Head positions of Recruiting Departments from other industries, special internship programs for MBA’s will be designed and more resources will be devoted to hire MBA’s on a regular basis. For now, we can only hope that the few MBA’s that managed to get into these companies do well with their careers, climb high in the ranks of their organizations and can prove their value to an industry that is still skeptic with MBA’s.
Value of an “MBA” to the Internet Industry
Is well known that the MBA title has a different perceived value across different industries. As mentioned before, the experience and knowledge that a top tier MBA programs can bring you are most valued in industries like consulting, banking, private equity and other financial organizations. Lower perceived value means lower starting salaries after graduation and this is another of the drawbacks of choosing to work in this industry.
If you’re not in USA you’re not really in the Internet Industry
This drawback only applies to European MBA’s (like mine for example). Just like many other industries, the internet industry has also a geographical concentration. Like banking (London), Luxury Goods (Paris), the Internet Industry is highly concentrated in the US, and specially around the area of Palo Alto/Silicon Valley. This is bad news for European MBA Students. Also, when US Internet firms go to recruit MBA’s, most of the recruiting will be done inside the US, not in Europe or somewhere else, leaving few opportunities for European MBA Students.
The question here is obvious for an MBA graduate considering going for the Internet Industry: Why would I choose an industry where there is no MBA culture at all, my title isn’t recognized like in many other industries, there are much less positions available and on top of that, salaries are lower?
Seems hard to overcome all of these issues, but there are also some very strong reasons in favor that I will explain in the next part of this article: MBAs in Internet

Cell Phone No Contract Plans – The Facts
The reasons behind the selection of a cell phone no contract option may be numerous! Everyone knows that the electronics market is filled with constant technological innovations, arrival of new options, brands and changes in network availability and coverage. In case you get bound by a contract, you could end up regretting it!
On top of that, you can change your phone, network, carrier or even your plan at short notice and another prime benefit in choosing a cell phone no contract plan is that you really do not have to project any figures about your potential usage for many years ahead.
When you actually sign up for a contract, you have to look into a crystal ball and predict the future to see how useful the terms will be for you tomorrow. In two years or even a year from now, your monthly fixed charge may not be suitable at all.
If you had had some problems in the past and have poor credit, or even have no credit due to your age, by choosing a cell phone no contract plan you won’t have to undergo a credit check. On top of everything, if you have one of these plans, you do not have to establish a security deposit.
In fact, there are just two types of cell phone no contract plan available – the “pay as you go” plan and the prepaid plan. If you opt for a prepaid plan, you will pay for your monthly usage before you start. This gives you the advantage of being able to change your needs in a month’s time.
This kind of plan offers considerable flexibility and can be a great solution for you if you’re on a budget or in a transitional phase of your life. A starter phone is included within this plan and a number of additional benefits could also be available.
In case you opt for “pay as you go,” then you will not have to pay any advance amounts and will not need a credit card for paying. Phone cards are easily available in convenience stores, shopping malls or gas stations and you simply need to purchase a certain amount each month to keep the account active. Other than that, there are no commitments, no contracts, no credit card requirements, no credit checks and no deposits.
As competition continues to grow in the marketplace, consumers are faced with tons of option related to no contract cell phone plans, pay as you go and low cost. Competition will push traditional carriers to throw out more flexibility to end-consumers.
Cell phone no contract plans will become more widely available as the carriers understand that the consumer needs and will demand choice and freedom.

The Magic of Forgiveness: Can Forgiving Your Past Mistakes Attract More Health and Wealth to You?
I was very shy and quiet in my childhood and never have been able to express myself to anyone fearing, what the other person might think about me if I do so. I was always seeking approval from other people in whatever I did or said.
My childhood was so miserable and abnormal. I dreaded speaking even to a group of 2-3 people. My heart beat would rise and I start to shake and shiver.
As I grew up I started to blame my parents and teachers for not taking care of my mental needs and not doing anything to relieve my shyness and quietness. This state was affecting me to such an extent that I could not do any job for more than 1-2 years as I would be categorized as being shy and quiet and boy, how much I dreaded to hear those words. The more the situation worsens, I leave the job without any reason and find another job. But I never thought that the job was not the problem and the real problem was me.
This had affected my promotions, relationships and my social life was in tatters. I saw nothing else to do than blaming my parents, teachers and society at large for my precarious situation. I was so angry with all of them and actually hated them for ruining my life.
As I reached the age of 35 or so, while browsing the web, I came across a site that professed Energy Healing techniques in order to clear your past issues and emotional blockages. I was so relieved that I begun a self study to get rid of my past issues which was holding me back in life.
As I know how dreadful it is to be holding on to your past and not forgiving, I thought of writing this article to help others who may be stuck like me and does not know any way out.
If you want to live your life to the fullest, you have to experience The Magic of Forgiveness right now. The power of forgiveness is tremendous in relieving you of all the bottled up anger and negative energy that is keeping you stuck in your present reality. To create a new reality for you, the first and foremost thing is to forgive yourself and everybody else for past mistakes and issues.
When we are children, we are unable to decide for ourselves what is good or bad for us. So we take our parents and authority figures words for granted as being the solemn truth. But if our parents and other people are operating through their own fears and negative beliefs, how can they give us correct mental guidance. They are not doing so with malicious interests but operating through ignorance and fears. They may be thinking what they say or do is correct and doing it through pure love. But it all depends on their awareness of life and emotions. So under these circumstances, blaming them for every thing what happened to you is a futile exercise and it keeps to stuck in a vicious cycle.
In order to get unstuck, you have to forgive your parents or whoever, you think had done wrong to you in your childhood and forgive them for good. Keeping any resentment for them will only harm you and not them. The major issue is to forgive yourself too for past follies and mistakes, because you did them as per your awareness of life at that particular time and now you are much more aware and enlightened about how your mind and life works.
Are you going to punish an infant for making a little mistake? No, because you know that the infant cannot think and it does not have your knowledge and awareness about life. The same way, your past mistakes were done with the limited awareness you were having at that particular time and according to the circumstances at that time. So the first thing to get unstuck is to forgive your past mistakes and any body and every body who were involved in those mistakes, for good. It is a must for your own advancement and growth in life.
There are several emotional and energy healing techniques to experience the magic of forgiveness.
The best way is to go to a quiet place and recall an incident of the past, that you wish to forgive and try to feel the hurt as much as you can. If you need to cry, do it. As crying is the best medicine for emotional hurt and pain. Though our societies profess the opposite, latest scientific research shows that crying is a great healer of emotional pain. Recall your inner child who was involved in that particular experience and talk to him and say that you forgive him as he was acting on the awareness that he was having at that time. Reassure him and love him for taking care of you at that time. You may have to do this more than once for bigger hurts, but it is worth it. because your present health and wealth is dependent on healing your past issues.
When you forgive a particular past issue or hurt, you may feel much lighter and relieved. This is because the stuck energy is being released and this released energy could be used for present creative purposes, such as attracting more wealth and abundance to your life or improving on your relationships etc. Most of the time when a big hurt is released, the small branches are automatically chopped off. Along the way you may find it becoming easier and easier to forgive your past and others who were involved in it.
I suggest you look in to the below web site for more information and easy techniques on how to forgive your past mistakes and attract more health and wealth to your life right now.

Hypnosis Therapy? Past Life Regression?
Has anyone been hypnotized for therapY? or past life regression. I am going to a hypnotist/counselor next week and am very curious to hear someones story or detailed experience of whether or not it helped .. and how u feel while u are hypnotized.. Thanksss
There’s really no truth to the past life regression, as this has been discredited many times.
Hypnosis can be used to retrieve memories in more detail that happened recently, but it cannot retrieve long-buried ones from childhood.

How to discover past lives and memories?
Okay, how do you find out if you’ve had a past life? And if you have had one or more, how can you unlock the memories?
I believe your subconscious mind has access to details about your past lives, but the conscious mind automatically blocks these memories from being recalled. There are good reasons for thi, but you can tap into your subconscious connection to your higher, eternal self by several methods, the most effective of which are meditation, self-hypnosis and dreams.
A great book about dream control could be very valuable, like this one by Patricia Garfield PhD which you can pick up used very cheap. (Ignore the dream interpretation books and get one that teaches you how to interact with your mind through dreams.)
http://www.amazon.com/Creative-Dreaming-Patricia-Garfield-Ph-D/dp/0345331443 is And pick up another book too – a blank journal in which you can record all of your dreams (even the ones that don’t seem to fit with past lives – even these can hold valuable pieces of the puzzle.)
Along with your dreams, include everything about you that could be clues to past lives. Such as, how you were as a child. Fantasies you had, games you played. Recurring dreams and nightmares. Irrational fears. Inexplicable attractions. Sounds that have an effect on your mood. Smells, too, and visual things. Times in history that are attractive, times in history that repulse you. Fashions, lamguages, celebrities in past times, such as royalty or leaders whose lives you might have known about in some detail in a past life.
There are so many pieces of your past lives floating around in your conscious, and when you start putting them together you can actually go back in time and discover a part of who you were. Still you, but in another guise.
The title of this next book is stupid, but it has valuable, step-by-step information for beginners about how to recall your past lives through meditation and self-hypnosis. A great book!

In my opinion, no one but YOU really knows your past-life history, so I would advise you to stay away from anyone who wants money to tell you about your past selves. But there are Yahoo groups that specialize in psychic revelations, apparently. If you look up "past life therapy" you’ll find a group under that title. But if you want to discover your personal history in time, all you really need to do is to learn how to communicate with your deeper thoughts and unlock them.
Please remember, it’s one thing to talk casually about recalling a past life, but it’s another thing altogether to actually experience a deep, strong recollection of having lived before. It can be a very emotional, jarring, overwhelming, confusing and even painful experience. Tred softly and take care.
Good luck on your inward journey of discovery!
